About Waxing We use a roller waxing system which is great for transporting anywhere also there is zero mess! The wax we use is a ‘Silky Smooth Moisturizing Honey Wax'. We find this is much kinder to the skin and tends to remove hair a lot easier than most other waxes. What Happens We apply a thin layer of wax and remove the hair with a cotton or paper strip. The whole process is very quick and you are left with a beautiful hair free area! How long does it last? Removing hair by waxing usually lasts up to 6 weeks. Will it stop my hair from growing completely? It can thin the hair, but will not get rid of all of the hair for good. What it does do is make the hair very fine and a bit more sparse. The other thing it helps with is the thing that drives us all crazy ....It helps prevent in growing hairs., which is such a relief! I personally could never go back to shaving again! After Care Advice It is advised not to shower up to 24 hours after waxing. If you do need to shower make please ensure the water temperature is luke warm. DOES IT HURT! Well for some clients waxing is a breeze, others find it a little uncomfortable. But the whole process is over within a flash really. What I will say though for extra comfort - if you are on your monthly cycle then try to avoid waxing - our hormones make us a little more sensitive around this time!
